The Bodyguard musical is based on the 1992 blockbuster film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. This thrilling stage adaptation features an original book by Alexander Dinelaris and includes many of Houston’s most iconic songs.
Audiences can expect unforgettable performances of chart-topping hits like “I Will Always Love You”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, and “Queen of the Night”. These powerful numbers are brought to life with dynamic choreography and an emotionally charged storyline.
The Bodyguard musical follows Rachel Marron, a global superstar who faces danger from a mysterious stalker. Her manager hires Frank Farmer, a former Secret Service agent, to protect her. As Frank and Rachel spend more time together, a complex romance begins to unfold – one marked by trust, tension, and emotional vulnerability.
Premiering in 2012 at London’s Adelphi Theatre, the show has since toured internationally, including productions in Australia, the United States, and across Europe. Despite receiving mixed critical reviews, the musical has enjoyed great commercial success and continues to attract sold-out audiences worldwide.
